With over 20 years of commercial experience in the product design industry, I have worked both in-house & consulting.
I have delivered production and conceptual projects and start with a research mindset. My skills include:
idea generation, research & insights / creating briefs, strategies, planning / hiring & growing teams / directing projects / industrial, physical and digital product design & UX innovation / developing models & prototypes / approving & testing production samples / presenting working product to CEOs
I have 12 patents in the mobile phone area driven from research insights & have launched different types of consumer products in the European, Asian & Americas markets.
As an experienced leader, I am used to managing internal product management and design teams, also outsourced work, be it product strategy, creative direction, consumer / technical innovation research, graphic and video content production, or complex discussion with corporate engineering groups and ODMs.
The Case Studies shown are some examples of the products I have created; all have involved managing multiple teams as well as creating design output. I’m used to working in Agile environments and can run product and design teams within the cadence of hardware and software engineering sprints.
I’m currently working for CloudMade Ltd as Director of Product, Design and User Experience, but also open to potential projects.
