How to redesign the original Hudl tablet to increase brand appeal and attract a younger audience segment?


A widescreen aspect ratio to encourage media consumption – important for youth usage and for our client to increase adoption of Blinkbox media services. 

Generous corner radii which also maintained our studio aesthetic, gave a comfortable hold and a quality feel. A centralised split-line which simplifies tooling and differentiates from the competitors. 


Optimally positioned dual rear-facing speakers with larger portholes to convey volume and playfulness. 


A fun and professional colour palette to appeal to the budget consumer looking to purchase for all members of the family.


A holistic visual language which carries over design cues and colour into the total product experience.
